"A Jehovah What?"
I had someone called a "Jehovah Witness" or something come to my door Saturday morning. He just started asking me all these religious questions, it was weird because I have never been asked so many questions about my beliefs. I swear he was like at my door for at least a half-an-hour. Everything he was telling me he backed up with his bible. I've never heard of this sect. They're beliefs are so much more different from what I've heard of in any christian religion. I learned that they believe that god has a name, Jesus is the son of god, not god himself or some messanger of god. The last thing I learned is that when a person dies, they have no spirit or afterlife that goes to heaven or hell. What do you people think? Do you belive any of this? Have you ever heard of a Jehovah Witness? Do you know anything else about them?

with all do respect, i don't know why they do that. If they wanted you to convert, then they should leave you alone. I don't think they get the point when you say NO.
I have heard of Jehovah's Witnesses, but I don't know too much about their beliefs. I think they don't celebrate holidays though, except I'm not too sure where I heard that.

religion is a very big topic in politics and the world..
I am really looking at these other religions. I am studying them and looking at a point of view that i have not even experimented on...
look closer to religion and try to think they're way and try to see these cons and pros.
Right now I'm studying the religion. About Buddhism. It is very interesting..

That same thing happened to me. Except that jehovah person was starting to get a little pushy. He was like if you let me in your house ma'am I can show you some more stuff..

I had a friend who was a Jehovah Witness. They do not celebrate holidays because they think that the devil made them up. My friend did not even celebrate her birthday, I am fine with all religions, but that is so sad.
